Rishi Menon, MD, is the Co-Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Awaken Health Institute and a board-certified cardiologist dedicated to advancing a more proactive and human-centered approach to health.

Through years of caring for patients with cardiovascular and metabolic disease, Dr. Menon witnessed firsthand the profound impact that lifestyle, relationships, stress, purpose, and community have on health. While medicine plays an essential role in treating disease, he came to recognize that lasting health is often shaped by the choices we make every day and the connections that sustain us along the way.

His perspective has been shaped not only by his work as a physician, but also by his own personal transformation. After struggling with alcohol use and his health, Dr. Menon embarked on a journey that ultimately changed the course of his life. Now more than six years sober and having lost over 100 pounds, he understands firsthand the challenges, setbacks, and perseverance required to create meaningful and lasting change.

Through that experience, he discovered the extraordinary power of community, accountability, and human connection. It reinforced his belief that healing rarely happens in isolation. Instead, transformation occurs when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to take the next step forward.

At Awaken Health Institute, Dr. Menon combines clinical expertise with lived experience, helping individuals better understand their health and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
