Sarina LeSieur, MHA, is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Awaken Health Institute, where she brings more than 13 years of experience in healthcare strategy, organizational transformation, culture, and human-centered health initiatives to a new approach to whole-being health.
Throughout her career, Sarina has led initiatives designed to improve how people experience health, work, and life. Her work has spanned professional fulfillment, resilience, leadership development, culture transformation, and workforce well-being, supporting thousands of healthcare professionals across one of California’s largest health systems. She has also contributed to nationally recognized efforts aligned with the American Medical Association’s Joy in Medicine framework.
Through this work, Sarina came to see health as something far broader than the absence of illness or the pursuit of better numbers. She believes our well-being is shaped by the whole of our lives—how we nourish and move our bodies, recover and manage stress, connect with others, experience our environments, navigate our financial lives, find purpose and meaning, and become more aware of the behaviors we use to cope or disconnect.
This whole-being perspective became foundational to Awaken Health Institute. At Awaken, Sarina brings together evidence-informed health education, principles of behavior change, and intentionally designed experiences that help people understand the interconnected dimensions influencing their health and lives. Rather than prescribing a single path to well-being, her work creates opportunities for people to reflect, experiment, build awareness, and discover changes that feel meaningful and sustainable for them.
Sarina holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota. She is passionate about building communities where people can reconnect with themselves and one another, experience meaningful transformation, and awaken what is already within them.
My Approach
